About the Cover
Our AJSLP cover artist for 2008 is Marco Antonio Govea, an artist of Lipan Apache descent living in McAllen, TX. “My
inspiration is drawn by the world around me, but most of my inspiration comes from human figures,” says the artist.
Another interest of the artist is saving his native language that is now spoken by only 12 people. More of his work can
be seen at www.artwanted.com. This month’s selection is titled “Ceremonial Dancer.”
